This is a simple suggestion.

It takes the stats of you on all the top on all the following list :

Battles Won
NPC Battles Won
Skirmishes Won
Total networth

Top 1 on a list will get 10 points, top 2 get 9, top 3 get 8, etc etc. If you are not on the list, you get 0 points.
All the points are automatically added up and divided by 4.

This means if you get top 1 in all the list, you will get 40/4 = 10.
Or top 1 in all but with 1 top 2, 10 + 10 + 10 + 9/4 = 9.75

I think I am writing this more confusing than it should.

Don't particularly like the division aspect. I say scratch that and just add the points up. otherwise take someone who is only in one list at rank 10. that person would have .25 score. I have no real opinion on this suggestion though, I suppose it would be neat to have, but it should obviously be really low priority, if even considered.

This concept stongly favors stat hunters like CDV over a player like Black Sparrow.

Not saying it's a bad idea, just saying there is no way to get a true top players list.

How would you calculate net worth,
Gc, gold bar, warehouse stock, credits, ships, captains, hideout investment. Its a lot to factor.

If a list such as this was based off of the stats you've suggested then I would -1 and couldn't care less.. this would be no indication of a top player as a monkey can win battles here and no skill or experience is required.. make sure you have one more bigger ship and you've got it.

This is very tricky.
No one can deny the old timer big shots of the game like CDV, SHM and Black Sparrow.
There are also newer players who are very strong as well and left their mark like Shadowood, Vane, Nelson and Valar.

To try to compare them and say who is the top is pointless since it will be very relative.

PK is right. It does not matter whos number 1.

All that matters is - You were the best in your time.
