I think, there should be a expansion in your Captains Log:

Like usual it states:
You have fought 13 battles in the last 24 hours. (Show All)

But, it shows just below them:
How many of those battles have been 'Wins'
How many of those battles have been 'Lost'
How many Skirmishes out of total number of battles

Could also add:
Total Profit = Won - Losses
Total Win Ratio = Beginning of the day/End of the day.

Examples for those who do not understand:

You have fought Y battles in the last 24 hours. (Show All)
You have won X amount of the Y battles in the last 24 hours.
You have lost Z amount of the Y battles in the last 24 hours.
Out of Y battles, you have skirmished a total of A times
You have taken a total of X amount.
You have lost B amount due to revenge attacks
You have gained X amount today!
Total Win Ratio before your 'attack' spree today!
Total Win Ratio after your attack spree today!

I would include Avery's song pick of the day.

Including trade reports and profits in Capt Log would be a good thing as well. IMO

i think pulling info that is a little scattered around into one place to check the performance and statistics of your fleets is a good idea, and Cpt Log is perfect place for it.
