direct sale of goods to another player

If this is already possible, disregard.

I would like to be able to sell or trade goods directly to another player.

Hypothetical example... Player A operates a goldsmith at his/her hideout. Player A strikes a deal with Player B to sell the output of the goldsmith for gold coin or gold coin and provisions or even gold coin/provisions/voodoo cards or the for an action such as striking another player. As the ability to produce other goods happens this would apply there also.

This should be "completely off the books" not monitored or reported. It would be a black market operation. That shouldn't be an ethical dilemma for this crowd, given the worship of thievery and criminal behavior.

It isn't because they don't want legitimate commerce or capitalism within the game, it is that they are afraid the Russians may hack the servers and steal everyone's profits.

On a serious note, I think that selling directly between players will only be an option after resource production is done by the players instead of the game.

it's a lopsided game premise...piracy good, but the legit commerce that provides a resource for piracy is discouraged. The game is highly tilted in the pirates favor. I understand it's a game about pirates, but the economy can't exist naturally without outside interference by admin.

one thing that you could do to prevent abuse is limit it to only being able to trade non party card goods so tobacco, food and rum are off the list of trade things (at least between people).

How about the possibilities that you can sell or buy any goods at the ports. Just like gold is traded now.

I proposed an Idea that would allow players to sell cargo directly from warehouses to fill orders placed by other players,
it also allows players to move cargo for other players

contract shipping
