maha sees the attraction of different play styles.
however, the players will overlap greatly and crossover alliances will happen.
this will make it harder for new players to get on equal footing.
maha humbly offers the following example:
Phoenix Knight starts in Mora-avon at the same time as T. Rump does. Kart is already playing on both sides.
Phoenix has the advantage of knowing the game to the core, knowledge of the fellow players and to have lots of bargaining chips from his avonmora side. where Rump has to find out what the game is about and sails between Tzogoz and aiora back and forth, will phoenix swap credits with kart and send 21 trade fleets to start his party trade.
the next day phoenix joins the IoM and becomes the next governor of Chalkos while our Rump attacks his first npc.
is this an over the top scenario? will players forget game strategies, friends, allies and those who tick you off? maha thinks not. maybe Phoenix is a strong minded person of integrity who would not abuse his strength from one side to his advancement on the other, but many of us will.
is this bad? just a bit. it will force players to double up to make use of the opportunities it gives. those who won't will complain about the unfairness of having a twin in the other world.
how would a vicious attack in one world effect the play in the other? does the twin need a mindbar as well?
it could bring more fun, strategy etc and it could be hurting the game in a huge way.
Maha advises to treat lightly here
