1) the picture above comes from the ships sale page. oh so practical.
i would be handy on the voodoo sales page as well.
we could quickly find the card we want and with the options see the prize or quantity

2) the edit button could also be helpful.
i put up 2 cards but later get a third from my darling wife. when no-one bidded on my two cards yet i could add the third to make it more attractive. and (drumroll...) apply to the spam rules better.

+ 1 on the filter - you could easily choose what are the best options on the market for a particular card

on editing, I can see use in this, however I can also see potential for market manipulations.
Being able to adjust your own price or quantity after the cards are in the market could affect the cards that are
closing.

for example there are 5 card x for 20 credits that are worth 40 credits ending in 1 hour, player A wants to buy those cards so and place 5 card x in the market at 16 credits. player B also interested in card x may choose to wait for the cards listed at 16 credits. Once player A has purchased the 5 card x's for 20 credits, player A raises the price on their auction to 40. Then player B
has lost an opportunity to bid on the original lot of cards and the upcoming auction is no longer a good deal.

Similar Issues could result from changing the card value during the auction.

Does the potential for abuse outweigh the benefits, I don't know. Maybe is changes purchase strategy.

I hope and believe that the "voodoo auction" will be replaced by a "voodoo stock market" in the future! :-)

all the potential buyer has to do is to act on his desire to buy and place the bid. if 20 was the right price (which you can figure out with the info provided) than why wait?
or when the 16 come up, bid on it and that deal stands! the offer should only be able to be edited as long as there is no bid on it.

Buying choices depend greatly upon intended use. If I was planing to cast my purchase I would look for a value that was acceptable. If I was going to buy with plans to re auction for profit I would be looking for the absolute best value. So my bid choices are affected by many different factors, Cards available in the future market are part of that strategy. The edit feature might affect my buying strategy, however It may be beneficial. I was just saying that you can potentially manipulate card futures, if you were creative, and that may affect the current sale price. There is a risk someone could bid on your manipulation cards and they could sell at a low price. So that could be a game in itself.

I personally agree with Haron that a stock market would be the most effective way to buy and sell cards. I would work very well for someone who makes card purchases as an investment.

how would the stockmarket work for three to the credit cards?
i put three on, the market drops to 4 to the credit cause no-one is buying and than someone buys the total of 700 cards, including my three. do i get 0.75 credit?
