I was looking at the ships pages, and thought that while it is useful to sell a ship for gold, or credits, it would be nice if you could take a ship and convert it back to resources. So a scrap option, where you destroy a ship and get back half its resources(or a certain amount anyway.) this would be especially useful I think for newer players when and if they decide to upgrade from Howkers to LMM or another vessel. I'm not sure how hard this would be to add in, and really its pretty low on the list of features id like to see added, but I think it would be a neat feature.

+1. I like this idea. Needs some firm guildlines on how much scrap you get back but good thought. I would say 70% is fair. Same percent as when you sell for gold.

im just going to say this if you can get 15 howkers (i got those pretty quickly) you can stock your main port pretty quickly with whatever you need
