Here's a poll for you all.
Have you ever (willingly) built a Merchantman (not of the "Large" variety) and used it?
Please post what you thought about the ship. Was it worthwhile? Or did you sell it back to the shipwright right away?

I made this poll because I just realized I have never once seen one sailing the seas and I built my first Merchantman ever, just to try it out.

When I was a poor young lad, I dreamt of a ship that I can sail and trade with! Alas, me pockets were not deep enough when I got my howkers going. I build me riches slowly but me riches where not enough for a large merchentman but they wer shipshape for a merchentman!
I jiggled me money sack and bought a merchentman! It was a good ship, fast on the sail but I still dreamt of the large merchentman for I am greedy and I love me gold! I sold me ships and bought some large merchentmen and never looked back!
