Gold Gifts!

I would like to help my guildmates grow their trade fleets but I'm stumped on how to help them increase their gold income and trading fleet. If they happen to have the voodoo card that takes gold from players I can tell them to cast it on me and I have a few Buried Treasure left but they are only a measly 1,000 gold. There is no way to gift a small amount of gold to a new player to help them catch up to the rest of the guild.

I propose one of 2 systems: (credit to John Rackham for thinking of the first system)
GUILD WELLFARE: Players contribute gold to the "Guild Pirate Fund" and the Guild Seniors could give gold out to poorer guild members.

GOLD GIFTS: Players have 1 gift every 24 hours just like the voodoo gift except it gives that player a set amount of your gold rather than a card.

Both ways allow a higher income player to be useful to a newer player joining the guild.

I strongly believe there should be a limit to the amount of gold a player can gift to another player. I think 5,000 gold per gift would be fitting for a brand new player. If a player has about 10 ships it would be about right to gift 10,000 per gift.

However implemented, a good way to help new players into the game and get them set up, which can be a little slow at the moment.

i support the 1st suggestion. .however i would like to add. .that it be also made a daily withdrawal and the amount is limited by the recipient's rank in clan. .also higher rankd/senior members can dole out larger sums above the daily allowed withdrawal also

Not a bad thought M0nkeydluffy. Kind of like Grandpa has so many investments that he can afford to dote on the young'uns but big brother has a minimum wage job so he can help very little.

Thanks to the CTC crew for suggesting these ideas. Something along these lines was suggested for voodoo cards and ships that were outgrown going into a pool. I hope the guilds get this one.

I like the first way. I came upon this problem too and I think this is a great solution . :D I think it should be put into the next update

I support the idea of the Guild Fund and M0nkeydluffy's idea of basing maximum donations and withdrawals on Guild rank. Would be a big incentive to new players to join Guilds, get training and be involved.

Would also need a log of who is donating and withdrawing, and how much, with access controlled by rank like other features.
