Guild applicants need to know the guild

Should not have an "Apply" link. Instead there should be a "Rules" link
The apply link should be at the end of the rules. This should help to accept only members who will be worthwhile to the guild. I have started two guilds. Both failed, in part, due to the lack of knowledge of the rules of the guild. That is why I believe that reading the rules should be a requirement for application. Also, there seems to be a glitch that names the Guildmaster of every guild as being the most recent guild maker.
