I received an alert that Chrome will soon no longer support the Flash Player used on the site : Current Chrome version is 42 and to continue using the Flash player I have been told to do a work-around to enable NPAPI add-ons :
go to : chrome://flags/#enable-npapi
section :
Enable NPAPI Mac, Windows
Enables the use of NPAPI plug-ins. This flag will be removed in Chrome 45, along with NPAPI support. See g.co/npapi #enable-npapi
Just want to confirm this is correct regarding the site and the devs are aware of the matter as Chrome is a popular browser.

At which page you got this info? If I remember well, flash is only used for avatar/image uploads - something we want to remove anyway.
Instant messenger may also use some parts in flash but it should be working anyway.

This is not helpful for us. For example, I have chrome 43 and I never got a warning at any page.
Next time you got this warning, since you seem to get it often, please copy&paste the url here.
This will help us understand for a start if it is related to our game or an extension you are using (the latter is more possible).

I got the warning whilst on the 'guild discussion' page quite randomly, first I got the 'flash has failed / reload?' message in the usual Chrome warning yellow bar across the top : this then cleared and when I refreshed the page, I got a new one, as described in OP, about the site running an unsupported version of Adobe flash player with a 'help button' : used that and got the google help page and the solutions as writ on the OP. No problems since.

The chat uses flash for the beep. Maybe you're getting it when someone sends you a message. Try and test it

chat was off... its no biggie for me, I find adobe flash to have always been unstable, in another online game it was often called Adobe Crash Player : chrome is actually a more stable base for it than IE, I found... but its still pretty rubbish, so the 'reload' button is not exactly a stranger to my browser : what was different this time was the 'unsupported' message so thus the post.
