Today my browser has suddenly started opening new windows when playing showing me adverts. Has the game been hacked or is this a deliberate move by the DEvs.
here is the link to one of the pages -removed- Cpt Jack

this happens a lot, I have found this quote from CJ to help you fix it

You need to de-activate all your browser's extensions/addons.
See if the problem is fixed.
Then, reactivate your browser's extensions/addon one by one. Check every time if the issue reappears.

In this way, you will find which addon/extension is causing it. Remove it, once you find it as it may cause more troubles to you.

Generally speaking, there are many bad written extensions that mess with the page display.

Thanks for the help. I have done a full scan no malware on system, so did the step by step, no change, so have now told adblock to run on this site in my browser, That has killed them.

Pirates Glory has NO ads.
It is a browser issue. Follow the instructions Grapefruit gave you - malware detection will not find anything.

if you are running chrome go to the play store and search for ADBLOCK and it becomes a one click install for you.

If the ads persist, follow one MORE STEP to the instructions above: try removing the links that load the browser. These ads change the target url to open their own. You need to create new links.

For example, for chrome, the correct link is C:\Users\PUT YOUR USERNAME HERE\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe OR for the browser you use (Firefox should be at C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe).
Best is to navigate there, find it and with right click and create a shortcut OR drag and drop (with right click), to create a new link.

Try launching the browser from that new link (or the exe file directly). It should run without issues.

Again, I am trying to help you here. Pirates Glory has NO ADS. If you get any ADS here, then it is definitely a browser issue.

For future reference, here is the complete way to remove such ads, step by step, by chrome:

INSTRUCTIONS - How to remove annoying ads from an infected chrome browser

1)Type at the url
Code: Select all
chrome://extensions/

2)Deactivate all extensions, remove any that looks intimidating.
3)At file manage (ie from My computer) Go to C:\Users\PUT YOUR USERNAME HERE\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe and launch chrome for there.
4)Verify that no problems occur now.
5)Remove all existing chrome links and create new ones.
6)Re-activate your extensions one by one - if the problem re-appears again, then you know if the problem was caused by an extension.
