Development Discussion

Here we are again, in yet another development discussion. I will keep it short this time.

Chapter 1: Current Priorities

-Hideout
-Skirmish attacks (as described in a recent topic)
-Ship Specialization
-Hideout v1.1: Improvements/Tweaks on Hideout + Academy building.

Chapter 2: Estimated Time Arrival (ETA)

We have been poor in developing new features recently. There are several reasons for this, some of them have been posted in the past in these forums. We are usually very efficient and fast; it is time to rejoice as we have entered this phase again. I know that some of you might feel anxious for the new features. That's completely understandable - we want them too as we know that the game needs them. We are ready to make them happen. We need a little more patience and your support and we will pay back soon.

Time to update you it seems.

We have been doing excellently in development lately with lots of new features and improvements added in this last 1.5 month. The big stumbling rock of Hideout (and especially Banks) is at large done. Some improvements remain, out of which, none is considerably important.

What is important, is the ability to instruct your trade routes in how to trade gold bars automatically. This will become a necessity soon; we are working on it in the last few days. Hopefully, tomorrow we will release it.

Next in line is the Skirmish feature.
We have high hopes in it to make the game more interesting.
We hope to complete it till Saturday or earlier. If you have any last-moment suggestions, make your way.

Once we implement it, we will need to start working on Ship Specialization feature. This is one GIGA feature, comparable to Hideout,Nations System and Voodoo. We do really want to implement this, even a small starting version like we did with so many other features before.

Once we are done with this, we will get back to Nation Addons, Hideout Buildings and a lot of small ideas/suggestions that need our attention. Shipwright building for hideouts and the ability to sell ships for credits or gold coins is among the top picks in our minds. Your feedback will help us give us the right priorities.

The game has gained some interesting momentum with the Hideout and its friends (gold bars,goldsmith,bank) and we intend to build on it. It should also be one of the best moments to call back your friends that used to play and invite new ones as well.

Trade routes improvements released in time. We want to implement some more improvements in them, these will hopefully come this week.
Regarding Skirmish, it has been pushed back due to the issue with Google Accounts, which we had to finish till today. We will continue development on them soon and we will release them this week.

Feel free to comment here trying to help us prioritize features and improvements.

Realised the question i asked had nothing to do with this discussion , at least i think....
