Maj has a pic of the sith emperor from star wars as his avatar, fitting and as usual going to go to his head if it has not already, the one he linked is vader the apprentice to the sith emperor from star wars.

Well, its a little more complicated than that, Mohammed. See Darth Vader (the black armor dude w/basektball) is really Luke Skywalker's father. Luke is the hero of star wars (he comes from a dessert planet, you'd like him) so its ironic that the villan (Darth) turns out to be related to Luke (Hero).

It's a little like oedipus and frued--wait I guess I'd have to explain those too:)

Now back to the basektball. Its the death star, which is kind of like the mother of all MOW's. SO when Maj (whose has taken the photo of the cheif head Rolando villain of the series, the Emperor) posts this picture, he's basically saying "I'm taking over Bad in this game, and I'm sending my chief enforcer (that could be me) to take a voodoo charged MOW and slam dunk it in the whole of Avonmora!

Oedipus was a King of Thebes who unwittingly killed his father and married his mother (complicated backstory obviously).

Sigmund Frued, the father of Psychiatry (the study and help of mental problems), took this story to illustrate what he felt was a universal hidden, subconscious impulse in men to want to kill their fathers and well, you know with mom. He called it the "Oedipus Complex." As gross as this seems outwardly, it has proven usefull to explain some of what goes on underneath our conscious, aware selves. Like dreams, which he was also obsessed with, our brains are very interesting places!

So, a story like Star Wars, where the "Father" (Darth) and the "Son" (Luke) do battle, one could say: "That story is very Oedipal!"
