I am just voicing my opinion Guluere- you did the same and I said nothing. Treat me with the same respect in this thread, at least.

By requiring a pirate to have to invest tons of resources to get the benefits in this post, you are restraining the style of play that some wish to have. I would be okay with this suggestion once the focus of pirates moves away from "I need voodoo to make any gold" to "Okay, voodoo helps but is not needed."

How exactly you need to invest tons to get benefits as a pirate?

To be fair, we invest a lot too.

Till now, I ignored non-valid arguments. Since this is a sensitive discussion, I will not allow any more nonsense in this topic. You need to back your sayings or stay out of the discussion; wait for those that do it right to post perhaps.

To hear that this is worse for pirates drives me nuts. This is so invalid. Tell me why it is worse.

Have you actually read the rest of the proposal? Have you compared it to the current situation?

Before I respond to CJ, Guluere: you have the means to have a lot to invest. ANYWAYS.

I said the benefits suggested here. You would need tons of gold to get your technology benefits presented in your resolution, so by adding more things "to help pirates" such as the technologies, one would need more gold, which means more voodoo, which just adds to the problems already faced by pirates of being reliant on voodoo...

Yes I have, they are good technology's but how expensive will they be? 5 M per level like Piracy?

I just do not get why you are trying to change something which has been fine for years. The current situation to me, is fine and dandy.
