To do that, you have to withdraw, convert to credits and THEN pass it off to Buddy before you quit !

I'm sure somewhere, there are players who could and would exploit any holes that is usually present in any give or take situation as a sword cuts both ways usually.
In my opinion the bonuses gained would outweigh any holes that come with a plan. As I mentioned, a tweak of banking rules allowing joint account ownership should not be that hard to code.
Having that ability solves all the arguments of exploitation, milking, pushing and everything else if the depositor had to agree on their contribution being withdrawn.

Perhaps if some valid arguments were presented on how such a system could be exploited, please explain it in layman's terms to a dummy like me.

not really. If I put my best voodoo in there for an absurd ton of credits if some idiot DID buy them off me, well now I have a metric ton of credits to go and buy back literally several times what was lost. Similar thing to storing gold in the credit market minus the corruption fee-just ask for creds at an absurdly low price and again if someone does sell them and you lose the gold you stored, well payday for you. As for not having access to it for 3 days, well let's say im expecting some magpie attacks. I could put certain cards that are valuable but I won't be using on the market. Charity donation, expedition journey, leviathans, and any other valuable cards that I don't expect to use in the next 3 days. Their safe, but I keep some cards to defend myself-clearing voodoo, mindbar, confuse etc.

Regarding cards stored in the market, In theory Mel, yes but in practical terms, if you put a huge number of cards on the voodoo market at really high prices, CJ will be looking at you with close scrutiny.
If you place your voodoo on the market at close to market pricing or just on the high side of a reasonable price window, you are good to go ! No foul.
