This will apply to PVP and skirmish only sepereate to any bonuses applied for techs or scrap for lost levels.

I think thats simple enough yet gives all flag owners a handy bonus : gives pirates a boost : recognises the value of a flagship taken in battle : doesnt produce an Over-powered super-ship : creates a credit-sinker : doesnt create a pool of ex-flags with superior abilities.

Danik. Other proposals have been made in this thread, but this is the first one that imo indeed covers all the factors you mentioned. I would recommend posting again as a new topic so it does not get lost. As a more simple way to introduce flagships, this has my +1

I would rather see no flagship come into Avonmora, and all flagship threads archived, then it to come into Avonmora like its been suggested.

Either move onto another subject, and come back to like this later like Vane suggests, or just vault it.

Then I am happy to withdraw each and every suggestion I have ever made on the grounds that it is totally fecking pointless raising any for none will ever please everybody and so must be archived.

Vane and a few others seem stuck on the all or nothing of the idea proposed by JessicaA. Their arguments always return to Pirate Flagship by JessicaA. The only point they are willing to concede on is allowing flagships to be available to everyone. Outside of that, it's called watered down and nothing like the original suggestion. Any baseline version is unacceptable even as a starting point without a full A-Z path set and agreed upon. Which will never happen because if it isn't Pirate Flagships by JessicaA it will never meet their criteria of being acceptable. The only ones holding up Flagships are the ones that say they want it the most.

Danik's stripped down version, I personally think is good point to work from.. It gives us a starting point. There are some minor details that can be debated, but it's a starting point.

Those you say that are holding it up, are the pirates who’ve waited a very long time to see this feature. It has only been recently that its been discussed for everyone and others have taken an interest. Previously most of you didnt give a rats ass. So i will not feel guilty to prefer it be held off or scrapped instead of a bastardized version coming to light.

Not being as enthused about a feature as you are doesn't mean they didn't give a rats ass.

And as shown, the all or nothing attitude.

A baseline has been offered to get the ball rolling and that isn't good enough. Danik come up with stripped down baseline and provided a perk just for pirates in effort to get things moving forward and that still gets the, it's not good enough.

Your stubbornness to accept anything but the JessicaA's Suggestion on Flagships is noted. The creator of that suggestion (CJ: As stated before the game owner used a secondary admin account JessicaA and wrote that suggestion) has already stipulated that Flagships cannot be setup exactly in that manner. So instead of working to get a suggestion that meets requirements laid out by CJ that can in part include what Pirate Flagships initially set forth, you would rather sidebar it in the hopes of what? That the requirements laid out will change and the original suggestion can be implemented. Then meanwhile the old complaints that nothing gets developed and implementations that were promised just sit and are forgotten will start back up.

IMO, if you want Flagships implemented, then now is the time to get it done. Putting it to the side might as well be the death tole and the only ones to blame will be yourselves as that is what you want even thought you have every opportunity to get this moving. I for one am not putting this suggestion to the side.

Currently, I'm working with the team to get a development map for Flagships created. The purpose will be to show what needs to be done including the baseline and future implementation points for flagships. This will help get the ball moving so a baseline can be set and a pathway can be defined. From this the corresponding suggestions can be built and/or linked.
