More gold, lower cap? For a trader with a howker tail fleet, they have to have atleast 3.5mil+ to hit the 150k cap. It doesn't help. This 3%-7% helps pirates tear down a Merchant even quicker than before.

if you read orignality post captain jack even did math with voodoo and technology i think and the proposed is less from the victim

No use talking to "old dogs" they only see other greater people as more on their level be it they have 10mill gc in hand or not, they would like this after the fact that they have 10mill gc in hand all the time.

Sorry what do you even mean? Captain Jack told us the cap lower the plunder bonus increase.

Oh my gosh, do you not realize the redundancy in your statement? "They have to have a lot of gold to hit the cap." Aye, so it would make sense that someone without enough gold to hit the cap wouldn't lose as much, as they aren't losing the max they can... but then you say "it doesn't help." How doesn't it help?

Also, to point one thing out, you said that losing a minimum of 360,000 or something like that would "shred merchants" after 15 attacks.. if you don't make that in 15 attacks WITHOUT the bonus of the player's treasury, you're doing something wrong.



[On a side note, Guluere: you'll get raided by Nelson no matter what you do. Might as well support a lower plunder max.]

It can benefit both sides, even said by CJ. I am guessing he sees this as an expansion of the Piracy tech, which would be nice to see. Sink chances are being lowered in his other proposal, and as stated numerous times before, IT HELPS BOTH SIDES. If you still aren't for it, then you will be an unhappy camper if it gets released...

That is for advanced piracy. That has NOTHING to do with what we are arguing about.
