once there is no food left in goroum, choosing option to buy from market only in goroums end should allow the food you just stored to remain in goroum

Temporary fertile lands would do the trick if it added 10% of stocks to the port to what it produces :))

Only until the next fleet arrives.

You can not Sell food to the market in Goroum, only store it in your warehouse.

they were removed from packs and gifts for a reason. and now they should be disabled aswell. surely curent situation in goroum is bad, but in general its needed to move on with the game development to enable player based production. time to adapt for new changes :)

Why not make it where it increases production in the plantation for 24 hours? It has its uses. Plus that would be more reasonable for it to still coexist and not waste the creds for people that bought it or earned it out of card packs in the past.

that is true, there cant be trade with 2 ports producing same goods. but you still can stock goods in it to supply goldsmith or hideout development. safer to move it from another food port than use fishing id say. as if warehouse gets full, fishing fleet can gain danger infinitely. quick solution could be to enable selling product port produces into port for -3gc or so

i do believe admins are looking for idea of what kind of card can replace fertile lands, so there wont be loss of value. so keep suggesting. but dont be like grim, and post all tings that come into your mind as suggestions, put some thought into it first :D

Yes you can. But the point is, your fleet arrives from Chalkos and you store in warehouse. Then your fleet turns around and goes back to Chalkos loaded with food you bought from markets. It reaches Chalkos and turns around with same cargo and then stores in your warehouse again.

This is a 2hr version of buying it from Goroum anyway. Same as simply buying in Goroum and storing in your warehouse.

The only option is to buy gold bars in Goroum for an outbound load which loses gold no matter which port you send it too, or load immigrants.

There should be an option to let your fleet depart empty......

i was assuming problem was that you cannot store food into goroum once it runs out of food, from another food port with auto trade route. that you can do, unless ship fails to depart a port, because it fails to complete order "buy from market" - i have no clue about this. if there is food in goroum, using store in warehouse, and unload from warehouse first options in chalcos should prevent issues at chalcos, as long as there is enough wh capacity left for single fleet.

perhaps i just misunderstand the problem here

i do like to add, that i agree with you completely about goroum becoming a dead port. and any other port that runs out of goods before plantations and such are implemented. ive personally invested more than 100m in goroum warehouse upgrades. now while it has paid itself back several times, it still pains me to see that being unusable. i do however expect this to be only temporary setback.

ports running out of materials required to produce goldbars are really going to cause issues to many goldsmiths. either lot more fleets will be needed to run bigger than minimum capacity, or hideouts may be needed to be relocated, which may cause some ports to be way too far to ever receive single goldbar from goldsmith.
