Look, to beat 5 lvl10 lmm, you need 5 lvl10brigs at the least or else you're going to continue losing against them. I know from experience

for god's sake show me one pirate in world history who moved an auxiliary fleet in with him simultaneous to his attack so that fleet 2 could escort the captured boat away.

that's just off...

please fix this. because it doesn't make any sense.

Here is the full list of limitations that apply when you try to add a ship:
1.Fleet must have 4 or less ships.
2.Fleet must not be travelling.
3.The ship captured must not be traveling.
4.Fleet and ship must be in same port.

There is no danger involved here.

Now, obviously the only case where the problem you describe could happen, would be when you capture a ship that was TRAVELLING.
In this case, you need to wait for it to reach port. In the meantime it can be commandeered. I think it sounds fair for the defender.

Let me know if you still see a problem here. As it currently stands, perhaps we could make Flying Dutchman also work on ships. We want to upgrade the role of this card anyway.

i immediately sought to put it into a fleet, and got an error message that suggested it was danger related, not ship traveling related... thats a significantly smaller issue, with i would assume a much simpler fix.

SEE YOU GUYS I ACKNOWLEDGE WHEN IM WRONG WHICH IS TO SAY EVERYTHING ELSE I'VE EVER POSTED IN THESE FORUMS HAS BEEN LEGITIMATE AND RIGHT.

Captain jack, what about a prize crew option? The captured ship could not be commandeered, BUT, the ship that sends the prize crew couldn't fight as well as if it was fully crewed leaving it open to attack by others. This traveling ship mystery has happened to me too until it was explained that this was probably the cause. I got lucky and my captured ships made port before anyone commandeered them though. Besides not too many would commandeer Lg fluyts. ;)
