In this game, a veto is part of a King's vote, in the sense that it is made together with his vote. I do not compare this to any real world situation. I simply state that I very much dislike the idea of changing one's vote - which in some sense includes the veto - after it has been cast.

Said another way: I definitely prefer the way votes and vetoes work today, compared to the suggested change.

That's fine that you like the current setup. I find issue with it. And while I try not to compare to real life, many game functions wouldn't exist if we didn't use real world functions. The excuse of don't compare to real world scenarios is BS when the basic function is based on real world function.

Yes, while it is part of the King's vote, it in itself is not a vote. So having the function separate is not changing one's vote, which is your argument against it.
