I made a pick but I think a higher priority should be give to accounting and finance management.
Giving you track record of where your gold came from and went to, profit and loss, Assets and liability, bank and buried treasure record.

Think about it as your pirate/trader books where you can track and figure out how well you are doing. If you can get plots from that too then it will just be too awesome!

Ship Specialization is by far the most interesting to me. The Witch Hut (customizable voodoo) is my 2nd choice but not on the list yet
