Nation Hostility Warning

If you are 1 attack from gaining 75 Hostility with your nation.

The game warns you right before you plunder someone/NPC from your own country.

This is a very good idea. I'm almost surprised it's not already in place, actually.

while it is a good idea, I think that this is something the player needs to monitor themselves, afterall attacking fellow nation members should be discouraged for the most part, but that's just my 2 cents

I personally think it should be a warning on first attack on same nation. As a new player learning the game there is many things to learn at once and a person not knowing the mechanics of game should be fore warned of action/punishment consequence.

I agree with Mel on this one. And I even blew my Duke title with Tokeleu after accidentally hitting an NPC from Tokeleu. A warning would have saved me from having to do missions a second time but it was my fault, I needed to pay more attention.

Sometimes you attack people by mistake. When doing plunder fast, it's easy to misclick. A warning saying "this player is from the same nation as yourself, are you sure you want to attack?" would be very useful.

It would be really nice if instant was not an option for people in your own nation.

-1 Those "Oh crap! Did I just do that?" moments keep things interesting

Players should monitor hostility themselves

An incorrect click can lead to days/weeks lost and 10s of millions of dollars wasted.

I myself think that the occasion one makes this mistake is rare, but it should not happen at all.

I think the game should try to protect its users from making a decision that could potentially harm that user. After all, we are trying to better the number of players entering and making a more newbie friendly environment would greatly benefit that. This "I want things to be as tough as possible" ideal is clearly not helping the case.

Making the occasional mistake should not carry such a burden to a user. Especially the new ones. I do not want to soften or dumb down the game mechanics, but I do not want a simple miss click to mean a drop in all ranks and your own nation.
