Standard Plunder Rate

Ahoy all,

Instead of the additional 1% to 5% for Gold coins plunder, we are thinking to set the rate to 2.5% or 2%
We want to make it more strategic and the 1% to 5% is considered a very large gap. Perhaps 1% to 3% could be used as well.

Opinions?

More against Pirates?... I disagree, but of course they are more Merchants that will agree to this then pirates that will disagree... So Whats the point?

I would disagree with it : the 1-5% adds the element of chance to matters, both in attack and in defence.

I vote 3-5% as a fair rate, if this a is a vote. Need to keep it where people want to hit other players and not have screens full of players sitting there and no one wanting to because the return isn't worth it.

maybe put them on 2-4% gap is similiar to 1-3% but pirates won't feel sad :)

I don't understand how this can make plunder more strategic...

I just accepted the 1-5% plunder rate with no thought to fairness or not as it affects everyone the same. I never gave it any thought or saw the need to change it.
