Very good observation! It is clear that after the news of OLOD came out, some owners dumped there stock a bit for fear of loss. The price are very low. I haven't been around long but as you mentioned, lowest ever. It would be a good idea for some savvy investors to buy low and sell off High at a later date!

I would suspect that with some looming updates, (Ship Specialization, Port Buildings, Witch Hut) that gold bars will soon rise again. Best stock up now.
I don't fear death. I look forward to it with great anticipation. For then I will met God face to face and let him know that I stole his Man of War!!!

My approval is often available at a very reasonable cost, after all, I got expenses....

The general concept of a Safe Deposit Box (SDB) in Banks is actually a good idea; however, I think it would be better for SDBs to have an independent value so banks can "rent" space to players.

At "Securing Your Nuts Since 1331", we use the bleeding edge of Avonmore technology to store your gold, that would be our banking squirrels. they are highly trained in the art of pirate combat and gold burial/retrieval. No need for silly safe deposit boxes or lead lined safe doors. These squirrels have not lost a single gold coin for a customer to date and pride themselves in the ability to remember and retrieve each of the millions of coins buried on our pristine grounds, whether it be the dead of winter under a blanket of frozen stuff; the muddy, ruddy green of spring; or the dead thatched cover of summer. These squirrels got your Nuts covered. In the event of added storage for gold bars, our squirrels have developed, under the darkness of this winter, disruptive banking technology in the form of tag-team gold bar burial and retrieval. Never before seen in these lands!

Who needs safe deposit boxes, when we have the famous commando, banking squirrels of Avonmore! Although, I hear the commando part may be how they have been wearing or "not wearing" their ugly shorts lately! Ugghh...

+1

Having the fact that voodoo can destroy GB now, which made me quite sad.

Also, it makes sense to be able to store gold bars in bank.
