In this proposition. Gems are NOT another version of gold and carry an entirely new purpose.
Gems should be involved in creating Legendary Cards. I want Gems to be seen as something you want to keep. A very rare and useful material.
Gem Properties:
- Cannot be sold to any market.
- Cannot be traded in any way.
- Can be forged (Card Forging).
- Can be created by hard work.
I will be a bit more in-depth in last 2 ones in red.
Hard Work: Gems that are earned by plundering, by nation missions, by treasure hunt, by NPC hunting, and by buying influence.
Types of Gems:
- Red Gems (Battle)
- Blue Gems (Nation Missions)
- Yellow Gems (Influence)
- Purple Gems (NPC Hunting)
- Gold Gems (Treasure Hunt)
Red Gems - Easiest to earn. Can only be found by Plundering. Every 30 times you plunder a player, you get this Gem.
Blue Gems - Fairly easy. 1/2 chance of being found after defeating Henry Morgan.
Yellow Gems - Based on money. Buying in (NOT using voodoo) 10mil influence will give you Yellow Gems.
Purple Gems - HARD!!! You must defeat 30 Pirate Hunters in order to get this gem. This gem is used to create the top tier very expensive and powerful voodoo cards. You don't need a lot! (Also can be used to encourage others to bring out stronger war fleets).
Yellow Gems - HARD!!! 3% chance after doing a treasure hunt using 30+ turns. Used to create the top tier very expensive and powerful voodoo cards. You don't need a lot of them.
Card Forging - For those who think that is very tough work and would prefer to earn their gems through a large voodoo cache. This is where you come in.
Cards can be merged to create gems!
Merge Prices:
Red Gems (Battle) - 20 Voodoo cards
Blue Gems (Nation Missions) - 50 voodoo cards
Yellow Gems (Influence) - 100 voodoo cards
Purple Gems (NPC Hunting) - 300 voodoo cards
Gold Gems (Treasure Hunt) - 300 voodoo cards
