Dont get fixated on the so-called 'pay-to-play' element : does it exist? Yes, but its a marginal percentage of the total player base : does it give an advantage? Yes, but so does clever play, astute use of ones resources and careful husbanding of such voodoo as can be acquired thru presents and the card market. 'Coiners' support the entire game for the rest of us : they accumulate shiny shiny ships and resources that can be stolen before they learn the longer-term lessons of how to keep their rear-ends covered : in short, we should welcome them to the game, encourage them and fleece them something rotten : no pirate ever got rich robbing poor people.

Danik, your statement itself has been approved.

+1!

I would, in fact, encourage MORE people to support the game by buying credits. No, it won't make you a top player over night, but it WILL help the game. And give you a small boost (big boost if you're very new).

I enjoy seeing players to encourage other players to get credits but lets get back to the original idea.

1)This is first far from a suggestion so it will be moved to General Discussion.
2)It needs tailoring, both the idea and the costs. Discussion among players is the way to go in first with arguments.

This can be chained to Shipwright Management. Which means that you will only be able to research this, after you have researched Shipwright Management to lvl 20.
