Separate NPC Patrol Sub-Screen

I have used Pacifism a couple of times in the past week, attacking NPC fleets over and over in Instant mode, and both times I have accidentally attacked a player on the Plunder list. This was just because of a clumsy mouse movement (I have a broken right arm which makes my control worse than usual anyway).

Would it be possible for NPC Patrol to open a sub-screen for patrol and attack with no view of the Plunder list, to avoid accidents like this?
