ship or fleet data export

Does anyone have a method for accomplishing this?

What I want is to be able to export (preferably in CSV format) my ships and/or fleets data. I imagine there would be a way for me to calculate the effectiveness of various fleet structures, ship vs. ship comparison and organization in general.

I don't know of a way of extracting information short of the old fashioned way, writing it all down.

I know what you mean though because I thought a similar thing.
You can see a list of your fleets all on one page, but I wish there was a drop down menu for each fleet that would show the ships in that fleet and perhaps some pertinent data on them. This way we can see at a glance instead of clicking through many windows and forgetting things.
