Events for all

i think it would be nice if we have an events per year such as christmas event,holloween, and so on,,,maybe we can make this even turn into mission.
for an example halloween,we can publish an event such as attacking a ghost pirate in mission list,,,,everyone can participate,,,top player who can complete the task will get some gift,,

this may be not fair to new players,so the ship use must same be same,,,low cost ship,,so that all the participant will face same situation,,this will prove who is the great pirate in Avonmora,,

maybe you all can give suggestion on how to divide the list of wanted pirate so that it will become fair to all players,,,

the more ships the player have the stronger the enemy that is simple i think

So a player with only a SoL will have the easiest time of all? I don't think that's a good idea. The NPC's strength should be defined by the used fleet's strength. Also- how are you going to rank the players who beat the NPC? By times attacked or by time passed from the start of the event?

How about this.

There are different levels of the same target, being in this case the ghost pirate, he will have several fleets that patrol around the map for the duration of the event, his danger will be higher when traveling because it is a ghost ship(showing up and staying up longer in ports), if a player attacks a fleet that is clearly weaker than him/her aka if the ghost ship is cutters and the player uses a frigate for the attack he/she will receive no points towards the event, however if the ghost ship is within the same class aka a frigate vs ghost brig or such they get points making it balanced for players old and new, the target can also have voodoo cast on him such as spy reports and other non danger related or ship destroying voodoo and will have mindbar up every so often at random times, to better people with the use of voodoo on a safe target, you are also only allowed to hit a certain number of times per (hour, minutes, days,) depends on the length of the event thus making it more fair and a game of luck and skill.

After recent events, I would have to disapprove of this.

Not all players celebrate said holidays and to pick any one as a "Game feature" would mean picking them all and that will turn into a nightmare. Players can either create their own events with some imagination, or perhaps as a community we can come up with a couple other events such as Kaptain Day specific to PG and not RL.

As this stands I have to -1 and disapprove of this.

-1 Skyhawk

-1 clockwork as it would be way to difficult to fit every holiday for everyone. I shall move this to disapprove
