Well, as many have noticed the game is slowly going inactive with people.
The biggest thing (besides a UI reword "wink wink") that could help us grow the game is CJ's time and budget. To program, hire people and advertise the game.

Personally, i like supporting the game. But i have not viewed buying credits as something that is worth the bang for a few years now.
So i would like to suggest something that would give people an incentive to spend a little bit of money on the game.

What I am thinking is a one small or maybe a few options for a monthly subscription.
Not something that will give people a huge advantage in pvp (Otherwise the non-spenders will lose their mind)
I believe that people who truly love the game and want to keep it active could spare 99 cents or 2 bucks a month.

So i would like to hear your opinions on this.

Possible ideas of mine:
Different packages, Pirate, Trader, voodoo?
Larger bank
Random voodoo /day
Discount on shipbuilding
Discount on research
Instead of bringing something down, add to it to make it better.

There is another game that I play that offers packages, which cost 5$, it acts as a item you can use, sent to someone else and sold.

It gives more energy per tick, and lots of other benefits not found without one always on you, like name changing, avatar change, etc.

Tradable packages do sound like an interesting thing.
Maybe have a market for it.

Extra turns / tick could be an option. But then it might make buying turns with credits useless or redundant.

What i would like to see is something like a "premium account" for subscribing monthly. and giving a bonus for 30 days

Maybe this tradable item can be "used" to activate the premium? that way people can buy it without spending money. So someone else buys it for them.
Instead of bringing something down, add to it to make it better.

That is a CJ question overall, but not a bad one in mind. I have thought of this as well.

What would the benefits of the account include? You mention the extra turn ticks. Possibly 1 turn every 5 minutes instead of 10?

I have a post on different voodoo packages i made recently, even converting credits into a new currency called Avos.

the decline of the population has to be recognized first as it is if you ask you will be told there is 17k people active but if you watch the ports activity this is clearly not the case
we almost have more devs than we have active players :D

The system like that in that game works because it has lots of players. Idk how it would fair here.

Big spenders usually buys like large amounts of them at a time, since they last for 31 days, they usually sell them for ingame money, which, people that don't use real money, would farm a lot of. Basically, the packs gets spread out and used by almost everyone for really cheaply.

It's almost impossible for you to not have one on at all times if you are a active player. Since there is sooo many people using them all the time, you can just imagine how much that cost and how much the devs make.

I do work here voluntarily. I dont mind not getting paid to make the game run properly. CJ knows this.

In fact i plan to plan my personal budget to advertise this game in the future. CJ doesn’t know this but when he reads this he will :D

If it costs money to improve the game, I’ll work towards it.

Yea that would be great. Anything in general that makes devs more money. Something useful for new players but also old players will for sure be a hit.
Would be a double income for devs as someone will have to buy the pack and also buy the credits to buy the pack in the market. So it would be like selling it twice.

Think there is literally limitless possibilities to what the packs can do.
Bank capacity +50%-100% could be great.
Special avatars
Double turns
All sorts of discounts and buffs.
Less Tax
More income
Faster Ships

It all comes down to what could benefit everyone.
