Nicknames you can give to anyone ingame, only you can see them. Because only you can see them, they are allowed to be bad words, like "sh*tty pirate" or "Still just a pirate that hunts". The name colour turns green if it's a nickname.
Replaces their actual names ingame.

I hate it when one moment I know someone and I don't know who they are the next moment due to name and photo change unless I remember their number.

You want to add a label to player names, in other words. Like NPC, who always have a label like "scarry" or "bully" etc.
