You know how you can sell one ship at a time?
The suggestion is to have you be able to pick multiple ships and give each of them a price before putting them all for sale, It would make it a lot easier since I have like 25 docking places on the market.

i t has been suggested.

each ships is potentially different. different att points and how they are distributed.
different levels and many ships have a different price at the shipwright. all depending on tech and bonuses used when build and upgraded.

this makes it impossible to do something like the voodoo auction where each HN is exactly like all other hn's etc.

the other option, just put a bunch of ships together and put a price on the total is not as easy. a interested buyer has to check the merchandize. what kind of ships, what levels how many points etc. it would be more work for the buyer to go through the various bulk offers than to select each ship individually.

If I understood it correctly you would like to have same option like when we sell ships to shipwright. Checkmarks and then sell on player market. I am not sure how hard would that be for admins to code but it can be helpfull in my opinion

you're rigth , i misread.
i can see the benefit of this. like upgrading multiple ships or selecting multiple fleets for trading.

a system where you can preset prices for ships per level and a system where you van select ships from your out of fleet list for sale at the auction will be beneficial for shipwrights. (and raiders who accidentally got a bunch of lmm's) Similar systems are in place for distribution of ATT points and multiple upgrades, so i think it's doable as well.

Yes, a check box or a pull down bar, with another box beside the selected ship in which you can put in a number which is the price, with another button below them which says, "Sell!".

but i also think the selling ships in bulk, like a fleet should be implemented as well, it will help empty a lot of sloop and howker that are stuck in the ports.
also it will help the buyer save turn and resources.

this is difficult.
as a new player i filled my 5 slots with howkers and was stuck.
Captain Jack agreed that i could offer bulk sales on the forum with a cash back promise (3 for the price of 1).
after the sale is concluded, the buyer could contact me and i sent him 2 of the three credits back.

when you do such a thing, make sure to provide a links to the right ships, since the auction is anonymous.
ALSO this is not meant for normal sales, but only as a means to free up slots from ships that won't sell for any price. Normally direct sales between 2 players is not permitted.

I am not quite sure, but it seems that you guys misunderstand what I am trying to say.
