Skirmish - Escapes & Battle Counts

There are some suggestions that I wanna give on skirmish.
1. Escape and number of skirmishes on a player
I don't see any reason for when a skirmish is evaded, still the skirmishes on a player are counted. That is, if a player evades all 5 attacks on him then another attack can't be done on that player. Any reason for this to happen ??
2. Skirmish and Total Battles
I think Skirmish should also be added to the total battles, total wins and total loss stats.

1st Suggestion I approve of... 2nd I do not...
Due to a simple reason : It brings more to the game, I believe eventually the admin's will add a top 10 for skirmishes with different descriptions. Meaning, more you want to unlock...

The number of skirmishes against any particular player has changed since this suggestion has been put forth, thus allowing for more chances depending on the number of fleets a player has owned. The minimum is 5.
I was on the fence with this and was writing out a detailed response of where I stood, until I reached a realization in regards to skirmish points.
To keep it short, I was thinking that the best way to address escape concern is to separate escapes into two parts. Escapes before action (no skirmish action usage), and Escapes during battle (skirmish action used). As I was writing it, it dawned on me that if an escape before battle didn't count, why should it cost a skirmish point. Since you expend a skirmish point an escape should count towards a players skirmish count.
Simply put. You spend a skirmish point, they have an action. 1 Skirmish Point Used = 1 Skirmish Action Against Player Used. What the action entails doesn't matter, whether it is a successful defense, a loss, or an escape.
-1 Disapprove on both counts of the suggestion.

If you risk an attack then you should pay the cost whether you win or lose. Skirmish points allow you to effectively light a target in a form of mini-ambush : if your fleet then fails to engage that should not negate the act of attacking itself any more than ambushing a fleet to then discover another players hits it should mean your ambush card isnt used and gets returned to you.
Of more relevance to me is how the evade chance is calculated. Its seems self-evident that a fast fleet should have a better evasion chance than a slow one. A fast attack fleet should also get a better chance of catching and engaging the target han a slow one.

Yes this is definitely an interest to me as well. A discussion that is definitely needed but of it's own topic.

Yes this is definitely an interest to me as well. A discussion that is definitely needed but of it's own topic.
There is a suggestion on this topic buried somewhere in the mists of time.. no doubt you and your gallant team will unearth it at some point!
