I think it would be great to have a tab somewhere that takes you to a page listing all the profit your bank has made for you so far... Like for loans: "aha! I've made this much in interest" or in fees: "cool I made blah amount in fees". Just a thought.

A useful proposal : mind, I did a calculation of interest earned on loans by running a spreadsheet for some time and adding it all up : suffice to say, when I saw the amount I was getting back for the amount I was lending out, I decided to leave the loan market to others in future!

Thanks Danik.. I do agree though. I'm operating my bank not as a business but like some sort of public service. I didn't think to be all banker-like and do a spreadsheet, but yes the loans really don't have good returns and we're taking on such risks. Granted, we have options to set how much the interest will be ourselves, but I keep my interest rates low to be enticing. I'm out literally hundreds of millions at this bank level but still having fun.

Collaterals would be awesome for lower interest rates. I want to borrow x amount, and im signing over x amount of such and such ships at such and such level, and if no collateral, higher interest

A bank can operate quite well, if you do business with the right people. That's why i believe that everyone in this game should take care of their avatar, what decission they take and what actions they make. Our honor and the validity of our words is all we got. I bet Sir Henry Morgan will become the new Captain Da Vinci.

If so, fair play and well done to him, or whoever matches such achievements : personally, I worry not a jot about another player having x times billions, I'm more concerned with how much gold I have: currently, its enough so I am happy, buts it a lot less than some may think

That's quite logical Danik. People are free to choose and do whatever please them. I hope to be able to build a max lvl bank and gs too one day.

+1 for the collateral idea. Maybe an accessory feature for the banks could be a vault of some sort. Or safety deposit boxes where "titles" to ships or whatnot can be kept.

-1 Disapprove. Communication between bankers on loans is a worthy point. However, this should be done from an objective standpoint such as a credit or loan history report. A forum isn't the way to go.

A Loan Management System has been suggested and approved for implementation which includes a basic report. viewtopic.php?f=34&t=3006

A Credit or Loan History Report is definitely a point that needs to be taken into consideration, but should be it's own suggestion.
