I would if i want to get back at them. 12 turns? Hah, most newbies only carry 300k on them. This would make it insanely easy.

So you and most later comments say that they would waste 12 turns on a new player to gain few howkers? I then say you are not smart investers of turns...

what guluere wants to achieve is some sort of immobilization for pirates who have close to nothing to lose with only few ships...

Then we should forbidden Fojis as well, or even antagonize,or HNs as they can also be used on the new players...

Well said, the problem of pirates that have nothing to lose and a lot to gain thing was first used by robert, he soon teached another person of it and now it is used by half of all the pirates.

I am not saying, lets ban this, i am just saying that merchants should have a voodoo to stop them or atlease hurt them.

Dont assume that because something is not rational in your terms, it isnt for others too : this curse may be intended for chastising pirates, but it can and will be used against other players too, for many reasons. There are curses a merchant can use on pirates to mess with their day : consider what the pirate needs and must do : then cast to mess with that : hostile waters will double their danger gain if they choose to hit : double their repair costs with another card : confuse so they cant cast efficiently, disfavor them, so they have to take twice as many return hits : in short, make their raids uneconomic for a day or two, repeat if necessary. This new card is a sledgehammer that will crack far more innocent nuts than pirates ones..

Sir, so far the voodoo you say that can stop a pirate are defensive voodoo, what this voodoo suggestion is a voodoo that finally can hurt or stop a pirate with nothing to lose.

Just saying, it wouldn't hurt.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner, but you chose to be a merchant so that's a disadvantage you share with others.

First by Roberts? I would say he taught others but he wasn't the first.

Your reply didn't make any sense, its like saying that a bear is weaker then a human because he is not intelligent.

If target player have less than 50 ships, he loses 100k everyday.
Target player must have used 1000 turns.

I made this suggestion after realising the fact that merchant like me don't have the fire power to stop pirates. I mean well big pirates with expensive ships maybe but there is this few pirates that have very little to lose.

I know that band of thief voodoo is coming but i dont feel like its enough. When ever a voodoo that comes out that do hurt pirates, it also hurts merchants, what i am saying is that there is not enough voodoo that hurts only pirates. There is a lot of times where i would defend meself with voodoo and after the duration is over i get hit. It means that if i keep defending and cant really hirt them, its more or less juat sitting duck.
