I think as soon as a pirate logs on they should be given another random players ship. That would save all the boring clicking and tedious effort involved in piracy.

Logging on is the challenge... all that clicking.

Truth is I've tried every path in this game and the easiest one was the pirate one. True, being the 'best' pirate takes work, same as being the 'best' at any other path takes work. But for simple easy log-on, have fun-ness the pirate path is easy-peasy.

So, let's make it easier... with more perks.

But being a pirate IS the perk. No taxes, low upkeep, no nation bother, just sailing around robbing the poor and eating the rich. Yep, you are hunted and hated, feared and loathed and thats the fun of it.. thats all the perks required : a good ship, fine cannon and a lusty crew.
Oh.. and rum.. thats why pirates steal the coin.. to buy more rum... and wenches.. cabin boys too if thats your fancy.. cos ladies can be pirates too!
