i am not a fan of a lot of things ship traits are cool for a box mentality.
as for my preference i have made no attempt to gather any specific trait for my fleets.
the only trait all of mine have in common are they were not mine to begin with.

any of the traits will support the class in which it benefits but it still brings it back to
a class war.

will a hundred fleets of fire trait lmms beat 10 fleets of frigs with extra cargo?
no not at all so it still keeps the classes divided.

this one sounds like it was born from an attack where someone failed to heal during combat and lost
and thought it was unfair that because a couple of clicks and a few hundred coin they lost a fight
because quite simply this trait saves a few hundred coin and a couple of clicks

we cant all have trophies but we can all play like champions with what we have

I win most of my battles considering none of what you said applies to me by a longshot :)

Ive lost hundreds of ships in my time. Am i afraid of a few gold coins lost from battle? Of course not.

I have plenty of resources to keep losses stable. Most in credits.

The trait wasnt designed for such conspired paranoia. More or less a small little addition. Doesnt heal that much to begin with unless a cutter kills a sotl. Only then does a ship repair 100% and that would take voodoo or ignorance to complete.

One sided isnt really a description for such as it heals or it doesnt, and doesnt heal much at that.

i think you should look up what paranoia means as i certainly dont care if you worry about a few hundred coin and a couple clicks or not

quite simply put
to introduce a trait that can be gotten with a couple clicks and a few hundred coin or utilize the voodoo to aid you further
is a waste of a trait and a waste of time to even consider .........

not true at all things normally have drawbacks just due to the mechanics of reality.
you spend 60k for a luxury car it rides very smooth but is not comparable to the 60k fast bumpy riding car in speed
neither is over powered they are just built for different things.

the mechanics are simple and easy to understand
of course you can spend triple the price and get both traits designed in one car however your upkeep will triple along with your insurance
thus introducing another drawback.

drawbacks are the natural effects that do not align with the traits you seek they are not added...... they are inherent
