Similar has been suggested and it is considered milking.

Why would anyone want to retire their account and lose out on half of there credits if they come back? Just stop playing. If they come back, they come back, if they don't they don't.

The criteria to make it into your "hall of fame" is laughable.

25M fame doesn't mean anything. You can collect large amounts of fame without doing anything, ie. being a whore (100% romance and High on Life at all 21 Ports for Governor's Daughter/Son) will rack in tons of fame.

Being a king/queen also means nothing. There are over 200 nations to choose from, which most do not have an active king/queen.

Top Helper. LOL. ROFLMAO.

What have you contributed to help anyone may i ask? A couple buried treasures? Maybe a generosity? Maybe your kind and constructive criticism really helped develop players to who they are today?

Game information, the same as anyone else.

Who gives buried treasures or generosity to new players? They have better uses. Loans exist for a reason.

My forum posts, and more particularly the manner in which I post, have nothing to do with providing information and helping players. You do know that assistance can be provided to players via Guild Forums & Discussions as well as PMs.

Additionally, I don't ask for players to vote for me in Top Helper. I'd be shocked if I have more than 3 total votes. It's meaningless with exception to the reward it provides. Having the most votes doesn't mean you necessarily provided more help than others.

not all players can get to 25 million fame. Same with being a king or queen. Criteria can be changed. It is a idea which can be changed.

Fame is perhaps, one of the easiest things to come by in this game, and easiest to lose. Multiple ways of getting such whether its through Piracy, being a whore, trading, Voodoo, and I could be wrong but building ships. Agreed not all will get said fame amount. However every player is capable of such - They have the exact same 'cards to play' as everyone else. Its not like they have been banned from using one method everyone else has.

Typical example is SSAA, they lost over 100 Million fame once within a day (I believe - I could be wrong.) to what, 3 individuals? Just shows how easy it comes and goes.

There will be:
-No rewards in any form for retiring the game.
-No redistribution of wealth. This is even a rule violation: Retirement gifts are prohibited

-The game already provides many features/tools to facilitate long absence.

-If you ever feel the need to change an account, the right way is to do it through administration so we will be able to ensure fair play. A feature just for this encourages foul play.

True enough.
Stay tuned on Radio Image Bermuda!

Are you a new player? Contact me in game and I'll cast a helping voodoo. Consider this like a sort of "tutorial mission".
