parrot - gives voodoo like wives - but they are spy and thief type cards - magpies, spymaster, crystal ball, pirate tales, trade master, booty master.
monkey - gives voodoo like wives- trade cards - potato party, rum festival, tobacco gathering, dutch, spanish, east, west.


upkeep for multi pet owners,

if you choose to own more than one pet, and the upkeep drops below 60% for more than 1 day the following happens
your pets will attack each other and you will lose them randomly

for example due to poor treatment of your cat - your cat ate your parrot.


I like One Eye's line of thinking on this. I would only change a few things. Since he has Friendly and Vile as a choice then that will also effect animal buffs

Rat (Vile) - Earns 5% more plunder (paid from person's purse)
Rat (Friendly) - Earns 10% more plunder (paid from game)
Cat (Vile) - Fishing boats fill 20% quicker
Cat (Friendly) - Earns 10% more population when casting T.I.
Dog (Vile) - When casting Tidal Wave you only 'retrieve' an attack style ship
Dog (Friendly) - Ports sell at a -1 for all resources they sell
Parrot (Vile) - gives voodoo like wives - but they are spy and thief type cards - magpies, spymaster, crystal ball, pirate tales, trade master, booty master.
Parrot (Friendly) - Increased Danger Drop from 1 per hour to 1 per half hour
Monkey (Vile) - When casting Magpie, they assist in pick-pocketing and steal +1 voodoo card
Monkey (Friendly) - gives voodoo like wives- trade cards - potato party, rum festival, tobacco gathering, dutch, spanish, east, west.

-1 to Shadowood. This stuff is too OP. I think wives for voodoo is enough.


I think for pets.

Parrots effect Influence because it showed the pirate owner was powerful. (2% influence bought from port increase)

Monkeys effect plunder because they were used to traumatize other ships. (5% plunder bonus)

Dogs effect ship repairs because they killed rats. (Swarm of worms damage is halved for the first 5 hours, ship repairs cost 50% less).


Very simple modifications. Nothing too OP. After all, they are just pets.
Just repeat after me: "Czar Ivan did not help me win the elections."

pets give good rewards just like when my dog eats his own puke then i don't need to clean it up.

It can't be as OP as Danik would like it to be however.

Donkey's can transport goods or people to ports on the same "Landmass".
So they will only have effect in
Kanoni/Baramas/St Mart
New Land/Seaglory/Vassburg
Pania/Regis/Goroum
Hannes/Neapolis/Caspian
Throakas/Gasp

No clue on Donkeys....

As long as its not game breaking, like one cast and rule em all, and everyone can have it, its not op at all.
