Port action fleet stop

Postby William one eye » Sun Jan 15, 2017 2:02 pm

Both myself and Captain D. have suggested cards that result in affecting entire port. If cards of this nature, are implemented I suggest we consider a separte danger pause for this occurance.

Premise, card cast affects fleet entering, leaving, or buying in the port.

These card will cause market page to show warning of impending port action.

Then they will show remaining duration while curse is active.

This type of stop will pause your fleet to avoid the result of the curse. The downside is that your fleet will not travel at all for the entire warning and duration period.

To be clear we are only discussing a feature for a card action that does not yet exist, however I thought it should
Be considered

do i understand that (in case this type of card is implemented) that another option box is added which decides whether a fleet will continue to travel under these conditions (Cards cast) or not.

i think that it is a fair addition; however fleets already underway cannot be stopped and sail to their doom.

an extra possibilty could be that "word of the disaster" takes time to arrive at the other ports. So, based on cutter speed, the other ports get a delayed warning of the impending doom.

how about activating this cards affect like foj i mean cast it will warn you immediately but effect that port 1 and half hour later. it should give some more space who online at the time of card's usage and can save his/her fleets if already docking to that port.
