New Server (machine) for Pirates Glory

Greetings everyone,

I have great news! We have negotiated a new deal with our hosting company. We will be moving to a new datacenter AND a new server.
This way, instead of having an hour of dowtime in some random time, we will hopefully have less than a few minutes when we specify.

Most importantly we will have a bigger and better server.

While we may not need it right now we may well need it in the future.
We will keep you posted about the exact migration day and time.

Our hosting company is moving out to a new datacenter. All our servers with them will need to be moved out.

Right now, the only things we know is that there will be a downtime of 1 hour.
We also were able to schedule it to a time where there is not much traffic for us.

We do not know the exact date yet but we will receive a notice 24hours prior to the move.
Good news is that it is only one hour though.

For any problems that may arise, we will be here to fix them so there should be no worries at all.

We will be upgrading our server too before the move it seems. We just runned some tests and it seems we need it. So we might have more downtime. We will keep you posted.

Whichever the case, it is something that is done for the better of the game and sadly downtime is part of it.

We will try to issue the update during the migration time to avoid the extra downtime
