Players have accounts of what they have done, so perhaps a Biography for Ships could be made?
Such accounts would be:
> BAT,AAT or DAT
> When it was built. ( Exact Day )
> Who it was built by.
> Who was it stole by? ( If stolen )
> How long did it spend in Mariner?
> Has it earned its keep? ( Stole any Ship of the Lines, plundered any victims purses, has it seen war?)
> Highest Attribute Count ( Only records the details after changing hands, or being levid due to players knowing its true value )
> Sunk info (when,how,where,who)
> Recovery info (when,how,where,who)
Only problem with this is: It is impossible to know every single ships history whilst making one for each ship would take a lot of time so I suggest:
A player would pay to have the history 'logged' at a bare price of 5 Credits, or if the ID of the ship is below 50,000 then it automatically is made.
The player would choose whether to make it public, either on " Hall of Ships page " ( Another suggestion ) or keep it mute.
I find it would be interesting to know, if still around the History of Joe Boots Sotls and many MoW's and other infamous Players.
