I tried selling one gold bar to a port and then using the "calculate" button to estimate cost to buy it back but the estimated cost was zero. If I added some of the trade goods sold by the port then it would estimate for the trade good but the gold bar cost was not included.

Indeed. It is not yet supported. We need to work out a simple function that will take in mind gold bar price change per unit that is removed from the market stock first. The one we use for the gold price internally is a bit dumb to use it in a public button. Once we get the function,we will update this.

"Calculate button doesn't work with gold bars." When you put in a value for gold bars then press calculate the button calculates only the resources instead of the gold bars. Thus 10,000 gold bars cost 0 gold according to the calculator.

Agree, but I'm sure I recall that back when it was introduced it did work... ?

This has slided despite 2 internal notes. I have prioritized it for tomorrow.
