guild with some type of port control

So right now there are some big port control shifts going on. I thought it would be fun if guilds could have some type of port control. Guilds could be like trading companies or organized crime groups that gained a little to much power in a port and how take a little off the top. This is how I have it working the guild in control get like 1%-10% of the port increase from building up the port, selling goods to players, and taxes if a guild member is of the nation in control. The gold is equal divided among the guild. The gold can be rewarded at update.For a guild to gain control the crime of the port. It will be a lot like building up the port. Once a member of guild be came a crime lord that guild gains control.

I actually like this idea... it would create some room for pirates to take a role in port fun and games which is currently pointless as they can gain no advantage from owning one now.

I think that would add another layer of strategy, intrigue, skill, and fun to the game. I think that the base idea is there and that the details would need to be hashed out. It is also fitting with the other changes that the developers are planning on rolling out.

The Pirates seem to have more capibability to use a one on one battle with influence to control a ports Underworld.
