I think it's looking good. Would have been nice if it went thorugh banks, but I can see several reasons to not do so, too. As long as bankers get some sort of "compensation".

I hope we get this soon! :-)

Since the credit exchange has been implemented, the first thing I noticed is that the minimum to buy/sell a credit is 25k. I think for a minimum that's extremely low. Didn't Credits start out around 90k in banks?

This limit, alongside with the upper limit (400k) have been imposed just to avoid spam. Although we can manually fight spam, it is always good to have a small countermeasure. There is no other point for these limits as they will only be reached if the players choose and odds are that they will not ever be reached.

We will review them if the rates get anywhere near.

is there a duration for the buy/sell offers?

i thought that i read about that somewhere, including withdrawal penalties after several days.
i don't see it mentioned in the help file.

so, i just ask for clarification.

There are none currently. No expiration rules. However, there might be in the future. We will revise this in particularly in about a month.

I do hope this new feature is one that balances and works itself out over time.

Upon early inspection it has already butchered any profits to be made on credit trading...

There will be room for profit. Above all, it will provide the stability we want from such a feature.

We have added an extension (current open orders table, best offers with easy 1-click bid)

I know this has only been up for a few hours so this does not make much sense yet -

If possible I would like to see a running sales chart - showing historical trade values - this will make it easier to follow credit value fluctuations and make predictions as to when to buy and sell and may also make it easier to compare rates prices to events occurring in Avonmora.

maybe 3 charts - one for the week
one for the month
one for the year

also - when you sell or buy credits, i think it would be useful if it showed up in your events, however I can also see that this might
become irritating if I were to list 100 credits and then they sold slowly 1 credit at a time so I recieved 100 events for it.

I like the new market. I am just wondering if an average of the requests and daily transactions would be nice!

If we look carefully, you can see a clear discrepancy between supply and demand.
Players want to buy credits at an average of 169000 gc but sellers are demanding an average of 223000 gc.
I think some compromise need to be achieved between supply and demand where the average is within +/- 5000 gc from each other.
Math suggest that a 190-200K gc range would be realistic to bridge the gap but the questions remain as they are.
Are the sellers willing to lower their prices and are the buyers willing to buy at a higher price?

If you take a card like Pouch of gold that is sold on average at 9 credits. The maximum gc you can get is 1 million. Making a reasonable credit value to be at max 111K gc. if you compare it buried treasure, which gives 25K the card value is 0.33 credits, making the credit value drop to 75K gc.

I think this merits that the market be managed or agreed upon on a tighter average than it currently is.

25K-400K is a wide range and by my calculations, a more realistic range is 50-200K
