We have implemented the functionality of this feature. All ships now have a working ship journal.

We hope to finish the user interface, which will allow you to view it, tomorrow.

We have chosen to prioritize this feature before ship traits as we felt that the timing for this was perfect.

I like this coming before Traits actually. Make a lot of sense.

It will be good to know who built those extra special ships with 2 Abilities.
I don't fear death. I look forward to it with great anticipation. For then I will met God face to face and let him know that I stole his Man of War!!!

A new element that the ship journal will have, in comparison to initial design, is that the name of each record will remain unchanged. For examplle, if the ship is build by Shadowood, it will mention built by Shadowood (#56585).

If Shadowood later changes his nickname to Calico Jack, the Ship Journal will still mention Shadowood (#56585). So, from the journal, it will be possible to discover past names of a character.

As in terms of implementation progress, we are close in completing it.

The new element is very useful indeed ^^

Implemented.

All ship journals will remain after ship deletion. After a point, we will create a list that will allow people to find journals on keywords (ie based on a player or ship name) they provide or through a ranking list.

Additional idea to rank them by battle performances has been abandoned due to high development time such would require versus doubtful need and value.
