any ideas when this discussion forum well be implemented it is very needed right now for such big nations like wales just make it as simple as it is for guilds discussion a small chat a few topics and nation announcements in case a nation loses a port or in need of certain stuff but only governors are allowed to give announcements

Still wondering when this (seemingly) simple approved suggestion will be implemented. As of now if we wish to talk to other members of our nation I need to first type out the message. send it to one player. And finally, copy / paste the message to everyone else in the country. Then if any personal messages must be added to this they also need to be retyped in and added to the pasted message. This gets to be a huge pain in the uhh...wrist since I can't say what I really mean. PLEASE,I respectfully beg of you, implement the nation discussion page. The guild page is already there for a template. If we could just be able to use this it would make talking to each other and coordinating our efforts so much simpler.

Yes this very much needed and i would very much like an update from Jack on when it will be implemented.

It is not as simple. First of all, we have to decide who will have access to this. If we simply allow every nation member to have access there, then we speak for a public discussion. This means that the forums as they are now can work directly.

Obviously,something more than this is needed.What we are thinking is that every topic created will become visible immediately to all players sharing the same nationality with the topic creator -at the time of creation-. Additionally, we will grant the topic creator the ability to exclude specific players and or ranks (ie, visible only to Duke and above). (Any player that is not in the exclude list, will be able to get to see the topic in the future, granted that he gains same nationality and required rank)

If you got anything to add, please do so. Since you are eager to see this implemented, we can push its priority. From what I estimate now, it is about 3 days of work, so let's say seven as we are currently overwhelmed. Let's finalize any details till Sunday so we jump right away into coding it.

I believe what you have mentioned is adequate - while it may be interesting to add other features, it may become too confusing and complex. This could provide a core from which to work, and other features added later.

While not a Welshmen, I have point to consider including. How about incorporating The ability for Kings/Governors/Dukes of different nations to have a round table chat. Probably too soon, not needed just yet. I did want to throw some fuel on the fire ..so.. burn baby burn

I like that idea Lefty. That could make it easier for treaties, war coordination etc. I think that you have the right Idea Jack. If this needs tweaking later after implementation then suggestions for improvement could be made and considered by you. Again thank you for being so open to discussing our requests and giving timely response to our questions.
