Generating 1 population, costs 100 gc and awards 10 Influence points.
Transporting 1 population costs about 2gc (min trade profit per crate). I find it unfair to also add influence.

You are right if we compare this trade immigrates with increase pop and influence with gold. But if we will compare it with TI in that condition even in akritori(im giving example about akritori because currently smallest pop port which is 23.5m) you cant have more benefit than TI.

Using your ships for trade and spending income for TI way better profitable than current immigrate trade system. Maybe a little bit tweak like Maha said would help to this feature. We dont want to have an overpower feature which dominate even TI but at least we expecting from this feature to at least be useful for some undeveloped ports.
