I had a fleet back in the day that had some really good earnings, would probably be up in the billions by now if I keep it going, but I sent it to valhalla prematurely.

No, thats just the cost of Making Gold Bars to Selling them.

A while back money was great!! People were building up plantations and ports and there was plenty of Gold Bar Sink going around. You could sell Bars for well over 2,000 each while making them for 1500. Now the profit margins aren't as good. Make them for 1500 and sell for 1750.
