Gaster enters the hideout, clearly rather perturbed.

Hello? Is anyone around?

Emily comes out and nods to him

What's wrong Gaster? Hope it's nothing serious, most of the other's are busy.

I just got back from Regis. Folks, especially teenage children are disappearing rather rapidly. 5 or 6 a week. People are blaming an old urban legend, Jack the Ripper.

Emily just shrugs

I mean, that sounds bad, but shouldn't we focus on the whole, Dreadbolt thing? Regardless, Veera said she was going to a party over there, who knows, maybe she'll solve the problem.

Emily thinks for a moment before shrugging again

Or make it worse. Not exactly a good person, but, she is a good sister if nothing else.

Think about it. If we catch whoever's behind it, we could promise not to turn them in , in exchange for their services in stopping Dreadbolt.

Emily shrugs

I mean, that's assuming they don't want to be caught, would be able to actually help, and that we have someone we can turn them into. My sister tends to get away with a lot of crap, because the family as well as herself has a lot of powerful people in their pockets. If these folks have power and connections, who do we threaten to turn them into? Clearly the local governor isn't able to stop them. Probably is in their pocket. Or who knows might BE the governor. People in power can be downright awful.

I spoke to him rather forcefully. He has no clue where to even begin. There is never any evidence, besides a single white rose, and a note, in small, ornamental cursive: "They are Tribute for the Feast"

Emily nods

I mean, he could be lying, or in on it, or who knows what all. Even if he is looking into it, can he really stop whoever is behind this? And if the governor can't put a stop to them, then who do we threaten to turn them into? Also, where would we begin? I suppose I have nothing better to do at the moment, so I can help you out for a bit if you are dead set on looking into this.

I'm afraid I must. I havealways been fiercely protective of children, and I must know who would go to such lenghts as to eat them

Emily just shrugs and walks over to a nearby door quickly pressing a few buttons near it.

Alright, then in that case let's just teleport on over to Regis and look into this. Could probably meet up with Veera and see if she knows anything or want's to help.
